James grew up in St. Paul, Alberta and graduated from St. Paul Regional High School in 1999. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Alberta in 2003 and graduated from the College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan in 2007. On returning to Alberta, James articled with the Edmonton office of a national firm and continued to practice there after being admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2008. In 2009 James made the decision to move back to St. Paul and join the firm of Morrow and Associates (now MORROW TCHIR LLP).
James’ practice areas include real estate, corporate, family law, civil litigation as well as wills and estates.
